For many years now, the cattle farmers in the village have come to us to collect the pomace that is left over from pressing the apples.
It is fresh fibre-rich feed for their cows. One of the farmers tells us how his cows look forward to this sweet treat.
That’s a nice thought.

But apart from that, we get some of the manure back to fertilise our orchards.
That is a mutual benefit system we are proud of.
