Black Currant Mojito

The strong and sour aroma of the blackcurrant is also clearly pronounced in the cuvée. If the juice is to hold its own in a cocktail, it needs particularly aromatic ingredients that form a counterpoint to the currant. 
What a refreshing summer cocktail! 
The recipe
Ingredients for one glass 
12 cl mountain apple juice & blackcurrant
4 cl white rum 
1 lime 
1 stick of mint 
1 tbsp of brown sugar or less if desired 
Soda water 
Crushed ice 
Preparation: 
Crush mint leaves, lime slices and brown sugar in a tall glass with a mortar. Fill with crushed ice, add mountain apple juice & blackcurrant, rum and soda water and stir. Garnish: fresh currants and mint leaves. Serve ice cold. Cheers!
