Two exceptional, heirloom apple varieties that we nurture with expertise and dedication on our sunny mountainside: the trees of the Ananasrenette and Wintercalville varieties.

Year after year, we have the pleasure of pressing their apples into a wonderful juice. We’ve just bottled the 2024 vintage in its magnum bottles in limited quantities. Each variety has an incredible and enchanting history, with much to tell. Be sure to read the variety profiles - you'll be amazed.

To match the exquisite contents, the Grand Cru juices come in elegant packaging: a box covered in shimmering paper, beautifully printed with a stylized apple leaf. Crinkling tissue paper, a lovely seal, and an informational card complete the presentation. There’s almost no better way to give a gift!

Apple juice Wintercalville with box

The very name conjures up a journey to a cold land - a journey the Wintercalville really made when word of this excellent dessert apple reached the court of the Tzar and it was delivered from South Tyrol, individually wrapped in paper. The Wintercalville has a long pedigree, reaching right back to the Middle Ages. Probably a native of Normandy, for a long time the Wintercalville was widely cultivated and in great demand, even in the highest circles. Wintercalville trees are sensitive; they like nutritious, healthy and warm soils of the type we can offer on the Ritten. Short description: Golden yellow, spicy and aromatic with a characteristic scent of white peach, juicy yellow plums and honey.Highly recommended: as an aperitif and with vegetarian dishes, pasta dishes, lamb and goat's cheese.

Apple juice Ananasrenette with box

Fresh and fruity - and a little bit frivolous. That is how an apple of this name should be. And it is true! Where does this apple in the middle of South Tyrol come from? The trail leads back to the 19th century in Germany, Belgium and Holland. At that time, the Pineapple Pippin became "everybody's darling" due to its excellent taste. On the sunny Ritten, in the healthy air and in the right soil, and, above all, with the benefit of our many years of experience, the Pineapple Pippin is now growing again. Greenish yellow, spicy on the palate, and highly reminiscent of pineapple with notes of citrus fruits and currants, this historical apple variety produces a noble mountain apple juice for special moments.Short description: Greenish yellow, spicy on the palate, and highly reminiscent of pineapple with notes of citrus fruits and currants.Highly recommended: as an aperitif and with asparagus, risotto and cooked or grilled meats.
