The cows are delighted

For many years, the livestock farmers in our village have been collecting the press residues that result from apple juice production. It is fibre- and roughage-rich fresh feed for the cows. One farmer always tells us how much his animals enjoy this sweet feed. That suits us just fine!

And to complete the cycle: we receive part of the manure back for fertilising our orchards. We are proud of this working exchange.
